Welcome to the interactive reconnective classroom
Learning activities take place outside all year round. Our classrooms are traditional outdoor living places like the yurt or our tipi. Participants autonomously carry out previously introduced core routines of nature connection: sitspot, methods of raising awareness, for example animal forms, mapping, understanding bird language, mind eye imaging, nature journaling.
To be effective those routines need to be practiced regularly as well as shared and reflected with the group for example via “story of the day” for personally and commonly becoming new routines in a nature reconnective sense hence altering our perception and habits.
Course day elements like a common check-in, a moment of silence, body scan or singing a song meanwhile have become good practice.
